Set along the dunes of Half Moon Bay, Waves + Roots is a family retreat designed for gathering and grounding. NDG collaborated from the ground up to create a second home that mirrors the calm rhythm of the coast through organic materials, layered textures, and soft, natural tones.

Every element was designed to age beautifully, from warm wood and patinaed hardware to thoughtful details like post-surf shower access and hidden storage. The result is a relaxed, refined retreat that feels effortless, enduring, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
